Three members of the Rotary Club of St. Marys were recognized at Monday’s meeting for their continued support of The Rotary Foundation through Every Rotarian, Every Year.
Dave Cunningham received Paul Harris Fellow +2 recognition, Bob Stephens received Paul Harris Fellow +3 recognition, and Len Hawkins received Paul Harris Fellow +5 recognition.
Assistant Governor Kirk Riehl joined Charlie Hammond in making the presentations.
Every Rotarian, Every Year
Every Rotarian, Every Year encourages Rotary members to make an annual contribution to The Rotary Foundation. Contributions from Rotarians around the world combine to support projects that create lasting change in communities both close to home and around the world.
The Rotary Foundation supports work in Rotary’s areas of focus, including promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water and sanitation, supporting mothers and children, improving education, developing local economies, and protecting the environment.
Paul Harris Fellow Recognition
Paul Harris Fellow recognition, named for Rotary’s founder, recognizes individuals for their support of The Rotary Foundation. Continued contributions are recognized through additional levels, indicated by the “+” designation.
The recognition received by Dave, Bob and Len reflects their sustained personal commitment to supporting the work made possible through The Rotary Foundation.
