If you weren't aware, I went to school in Switzerland, where I met my wife, I got married in Zurich and all of our children were born in Switzerland so I have a good idea of Swiss cuisine.
I learned a lot about Swiss Cuisine from my Schwigermutter (Mother in Law) and wanted to share it with you. It will include a variety of puff pastry appetizers, Salat Teller mit Schinken und Kase, cured ham with a selection of Swiss cheese, on a Salad Plate. Zurischnatzelets Shredded chicken with mushrooms in a creamy Sbrinz Sauce (Sbrinz is the Swiss equivalent of Parmesan). Served with Hausgemacht (home made) Roesti.
A Swiss Apple Pie with Vanilla ice, and last but not least, coffee and Swiss chocolates.
Tickets are $75 and be purchased by sending your request to andyrmiddleton@gmail.com Tickets are limited to 40 so first come, first serve. BYOD - bring your own drinks. Payment can be made by e-transfer to the email address.
All proceeds from the dinner will go to the Rotary Club of St. Marys' centenary International Project in Kenya
