Rotary Club of St. Marys distributes 175 free masks
On Friday June 26th the Rotary Club of St. Marys distributed about 175 free masks at the Post Office. This was part of the club’s ongoing program of providing Personal Protective Equipment and service to the community during the pandemic. The club has secured and donated a combination of masks, gowns and caps to Happy Valley Health Care Team, Wildwood Nursing Home, Kingsway Nursing Home and others. Our Rotary Club has distributed over 1000 meals to residents of the community which we purchased from the following local establishments -Sunset Diner, Joe’s Restaurant, Gordy’s, Janice’s Catering, St. Marys Independent Grocery, Four Happy Restaurant, and Jennie’s Restaurant. Rotary thanks these businesses and the community and frontline workers. We also thank the Town of St. Marys for a donation towards the meals.
