Speaker: Bonnie Sitter – Who Were the Farmerettes?

Author and researcher Bonnie Sitter will speak about the Canadian Farmerettes and the project We Lend a Hand: The Forgotten Story of Ontario Farmerettes, which tells the story of the thousands of young women who worked on Ontario farms during and after the Second World War.
