Class trip

We went to the rice fields to swim in mud and learn about the process of making rice, and then to a temple and market. It’s times like these I feel like I never want to leave Thailand at all!! I’m so lucky to have these amazing friends.

Khao San Road//Rattanakosin
My parents were kind enough to take me to Khao San Road, one of the most famous tourist spots in Thailand. It’s So busy and crowded but so much fun, though it’s honestly known for its bars, clubs, and cheap accommodations, there’s so much more to the crowded place than its fame. The people are nice, the food is amazing, and you meet so many new people!!

Bangkok to Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son (Day One)

Wow, 2 flights later and I was in beautiful northern Thailand and it was very cold. And by cold I mean a solid 26 degrees. We went to see the village of the longnecks and stayed in a very pretty hotel with an incredible view. I am so thankful that my host parents were kind enough to bring me with them on this amazing adventure.

Loy Kathong Festival//Sport day

okay, this was a lot of fun.
I had to get to school at 3am for hair makeup and costume, and lead my group in the parade. So many pictures were taken, I was so busy I almost forgot to take pictures of my own.
So many people were there and I’ll be putting up some videos of the dancing.
Such an amazing place filled with incredible people. It really is my new home.

Okay, I haven’t posted in a while but I promise for good reason.
I was away at RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) for 5 days. All of the exchange students and I had such an amazing time, it feels as though we were given that weekend to really bond as a family and we truly did. We really feel as though we couldn’t be any closer and I am more than happy that I have found the best of friends in people who understand me. They are the perfect people that I can spend my time with.
Honestly,RYLA was a lot of fun, we did so many activities and had parties at night with the staff and kids. I made a lot of new Thai friends and even saw some friends from my school.
These pictures don’t capture the full experience, nor do these words but I hope to see everyone soon and couldn’t imagine my life without them now.
